“Professional managers.”
Serenity pondered this for a moment and replied, “That’s a great suggestion. We should establish an office in my hometown since all our vegetable farms are located there. If it’s too far away, managing them will be challenging for the staff.”
“Alright, I’ll leave the hiring of farm supervisors to you. I have no experience in farming. I’ve already contacted a recruitment agency to find a few professional managers.”
Serenity had no objections.
She added, “The team leaders we currently have are performing well. Let’s evaluate their performance first. If they can take on greater responsibilities, we can promote them to supervisors.”
“Have you thought about further expansion? My hometown includes many small towns, but we’ve only cultivated fields in a few of them for vegetable production. To grow our business, we could explore additional towns and acquire more land.”
Since they were aiming to establish an agricultural company, their current vegetable farms weren’t large enough.
Elise smiled and said, “Great minds think alike!”
The two women were already seeing some profits. They had numerous partners, and the vegetables on the farm were planted in batches, ensuring daily shipments without concerns about sales.
Elisa had always led a comfortable life without worrying about food, but she had never made any money. Now that she could earn income on her own, she felt invigorated.
“Let’s head back to my hometown next week to rent a space for our office.”
“I noticed many vacant plots in your hometown. Let’s see if we can purchase a piece of land and build our own facility. While the initial investment is substantial, it will be worthwhile in the long run. If we rent a place, the costs will only keep rising, and we would end up spending the same amount overall.”
Elisa had substantial funds, so she preferred not to rent.
