Married at First Sight Chapter 1558

Chapter 1558
Amy echoed, “Yes, our Camryn is unworthy of Mr. York. I doubt your family would accept her because she is blind. She even sued her own mother, demonstrating a lack of virtue that makes her unsuitable for Mr. York.”
It appeared that this was their intention.
Rosella understood the reason the women had come today.
They could not bear to see Callum treating Camryn well, so they came to cause trouble and tarnish Camryn’s reputation in her presence. They aimed to use her to drive a wedge between Callum and Camryn.
Were they truly Camryn’s biological aunts?
It seemed they could not tolerate Camryn’s success.
“Is that how you feel about your niece and Callum?”
The smile faded from Rosella’s face.
“Do you believe Camryn is unworthy of Callum? That she lacks virtue? I’ve heard about her suing her own mother. If her biological father truly died at her mother’s hands, then she did the right thing by prioritizing justice over family.
“As her aunts, you should support her instead. After all, her father is your brother. You share the same parents, don’t you?”
Brenda and Amy were left speechless.
“Or do you think your sister-in-law killed your brother because he deserved it? I have not heard of the late Mr. Newman committing any crime that warranted his death.
“Furthermore, as children, could you really do nothing if you discovered your father was killed by your mother? Would you allow your father’s death to go unavenged? While it is difficult to prioritize righteousness over family, anyone with a conscience should support those who do. Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law.”
The two women remained silent.
After a long pause, Brenda finally spoke, “Yes, Camryn did prioritize righteousness over her family, but beyond that, she is blind. She’s not—”

worthy partner for Mr. York. We sought your help today because we want to protect our niece.”

Amy remarked, “That girl is incredibly single-minded when it comes to love. Once she falls for someone, she’s devoted to them for life. If it were anyone else, we wouldn’t be concerned and would even embrace the role of villains.”

Ultimately, they found it unbearable to see Callum and Camryn together.

Their comments belittled Camryn, suggesting she was unworthy of Callum.

But how many women in Wiltspoon could truly measure up to the York family?

As long as the York family had no objections to the lady, that should suffice.

Rosella replied softly, “I see what you’re saying. You believe your niece is not good enough for my Callum, correct?”

“Exactly, Camryn is not suitable for Mr. York,” Brenda admitted candidly.

Amy added, “Our Camryn is not a bad person, but she is blind. Even ordinary people may turn away from her because of that, let alone Mr. York.”

“Is there no possibility for her eyes to be healed? Is there no chance for her to regain her sight?”

The two women were taken aback.

They were uncertain whether Camryn could ever see again. They only knew that Evelyn had spent ten years attempting to treat Camryn’s eyes, taking her to various hospitals across the country. Whenever a reputable ophthalmologist was mentioned, Evelyn would ensure Camryn had an appointment.

Yet, after a decade, Camryn remained blind.

Amy sighed, “Camryn has been blind for ten years and has consulted countless eye specialists, but her sight has not improved. It seems very unlikely she will regain it.”

After a brief silence, Rosella said, “The York family has always been open-minded. The elders won’t interfere in the younger generation’s relationships. If Callum has feelings for Camryn, that’s for him to determine. My role is simply to wait to become a

mother-in-law. “It doesn’t matter that Camryn is blind. Once she marries into the York family, she won’t need to do anything. All she has to do is be a good wife and know how to spend money.” Brenda and Amy were left speechless.
