Elisa was unaware that her family was concerned about her being taken away by Remy.

After leaving the villa, she and Remy strolled slowly along the concrete path.

Typically, Elisa would drive in and out of the villa, so she had never really taken the time to appreciate the scenery surrounding it.

“After living here for so many years, I just realized how beautiful the scenery is. The greenery is lovely, and there are plenty of benches along the road for people to sit and rest when they’re tired. Additionally, there are gazebos placed at regular intervals.”

Upon entering the expansive area of the villas, there was a garden filled with lush trees, fitness equipment, and a playground for children.

The Stones had purchased several smaller villas and connected them to create a larger one, complete with a variety of sports and entertainment facilities.

As a result, Elisa rarely explored the garden in the estate; in her own words, she merely glanced at the passing scenery while driving in or out of her villa.

“The environment here is fantastic, so I quickly bought your neighbor’s house as soon as I learned it was on the market. Besides the beautiful surroundings, the security is excellent, and the area is spacious. Even though it’s pre-owned, I believe it was a good investment.”

As Remy spoke while walking, it seemed as if he had discovered a treasure in purchasing the pre-owned house.

For him, it truly felt like a bargain.

This was largely because he was focused on Elisa.

“You were fortunate to buy the villa next to my family’s. That property is expansive. Our family also wanted to purchase it, but you secured it too quickly.”

As they walked, Elisa smiled and replied, “When my brother found out that the house had sold, he was surprised that someone had beaten us to it. I wondered who it could be,

you completely slipped my mind. You truly have an exceptional eye for detail, Remy. Purchasing that villa is definitely a wise investment.

“You even hired someone to bless the house. Once you move in, your work will undoubtedly flourish. The FC & Co. branch here might even evolve into a mega-corporation.

“The person you like will surely appreciate the grand villa you’ve prepared for her.”

Remy had sought Elisa’s opinion on his renovation plans for the villa, and she shared her thoughts openly. Ultimately, they agreed on a refurbishment plan that satisfied everyone involved.

Elisa believed her tastes were sophisticated and assumed that if she approved of the design, Remy’s crush would feel the same.

“Mhm, I hope she’ll like it,” Remy replied.

Elisa turned to him with a smile. “Remy, we know each other well by now. I genuinely consider you a close guy friend. Please be honest with me—who is the girl you like? I’m genuinely curious about what she looks like.”

Remy paused and met her gaze, still smiling warmly. “Do you really want to know?”

“I’ve wanted to know for ages. You’re the one who keeps it a secret.

“You’ve made it so mysterious. I’ve considered all the daughters of wealthy families I know, but I can’t seem to guess. You smile at everyone during banquets, which makes it tough to figure out who it is based on your interactions.”

Remy laughed. “Let’s sit over there and have a slow chat.”

Elisa had no objections.

They moved to the stone bench Remy mentioned and sat down, surrounded by ornamental trees with lush foliage providing some shade.

Remy took out a packet of tissues he had brought and wiped the stone bench clean before allowing Elisa to sit down.

Seeing his actions, she complimented him, “Remy,

You are truly attentive and thoughtful. The girl who receives your love will be incredibly lucky. She will inspire envy in many when she marries you, just like Zachary and Serenity.

“We’re neighbors. Please keep your distance when you and your spouse are being affectionate. I’d prefer not to be bothered as a single lady,” she said.

Remy smiled and replied, “Don’t worry. Even if I were to upset someone, it would never be you.”
