Married at First Sight Chapter 1514

Chapter 1514

Serenity called Callum. When he answered, she said, “Callum, Camryn has changed her number. I went to her flower shop twice this morning but didn’t see her. Have you seen her?”

Callum replied, “I’m waiting for her at Beans and Cream to send me flowers.” He had no idea what Camryn’s new number was, as the shop assistant refused to share it. He decided to recall the number for Spring Blossoms and asked the store manager at Beans and Cream to call them, requesting that Camryn send the flowers over.

This was his only chance to see her.

“Is Camryn going there alone?” he asked.

“Another worker is bringing her over on an electric scooter. Thank you, Serenity.”

Even though Serenity hadn’t been able to see Camryn and speak on Callum’s behalf, she had visited Spring Blossoms twice that morning. This gesture touched Callum and made him feel that Serenity genuinely cared about his situation.

“Don’t mention it. We’re family. When you see her, don’t frighten her again,” Serenity cautioned.

“Serenity, I deeply regret what happened. I won’t make that mistake again,” Callum responded, recalling how he had kissed Camryn without winning her heart, which had understandably upset and frightened her.

He continued to blame himself for not being able to control his impulses.

Feeling reassured, Serenity ended the call and drove directly to the bookstore.

Meanwhile, Grandma May visited the Marshalls with River. After delivering an invitation card, she headed to the Stones, as both houses were close to each other.

At the Stones, Remy was present, having recently become their neighbor. It seemed he was planning to take advantage of their hospitality.

Upon hearing that Grandma May and River had arrived, Mr. and Mrs.

Stone came out to greet them personally.

“Why didn’t you let me know you were coming? Let me pick you up,” she said after Grandma May exited the car. Mrs. Stone stepped forward to embrace her, smiling as she expressed her disappointment at not being informed of the visit beforehand.

Grandma May grinned and replied, “I had River drive me here; it was convenient. I didn’t want to trouble you.”

“What trouble? It’s an honor for us to pick you up. This must be your seventh grandson, and he’s quite handsome! Old Mrs. York, you are truly blessed. All your grandsons are good-looking and capable—it’s impressive,” Mrs. Stone remarked.

Mrs. Stone had two sons and one daughter. Only her eldest son was responsible and accomplished, taking over the Stone Group. Her second son had no interest in business, while her daughter, having been pampered throughout her youth, had only recently started her own venture.

Mrs. Stone genuinely admired Grandma May and her grandsons. Other older ladies also held Grandma May in high regard.

“They may be good-looking, but none are as brilliant as Clive. Clive alone surpasses all my grandsons,” Grandma May said.

Mrs. Stone laughed before responding, “Don’t keep praising Clive like that. If he hears you, he’ll become complacent.”

“I’m merely stating the truth. Clive and Zack are the most promising young talents in Wiltspoon, and everyone praises them,” Grandma May insisted.

“Grandma May,” Elisa greeted her with a smile.

Remy, who had come out with Elisa, also greeted Grandma May politely.

When Grandma May spotted Remy, she exclaimed with a grin, “Remy, you’re here too!”

Remy replied gently, “I came to check on the progress of my house renovation. Knowing Mrs. Stone and Elisa were home, I thought I’d stop by for some coffee.”

Grandma May chuckled, “You’ll be…

“Neighbors in the future should strive to get along more often. It’s said that a close friend is better than a distant relative. Maintaining good relationships with neighbors is essential.”

“You’re right. That’s what I was thinking. Whenever I come to check on the progress of my house renovations, I’ll make sure to visit Mrs. Stone.”

As Mrs. Stone listened to the exchange between Grandma May and Remy, she secretly lamented that Remy was trying to get close to her beloved daughter under the guise of wanting to foster strong neighborly ties.

He intended to win her daughter’s heart gradually.
