Everyone present was aware that Josh and Jasmine’s wedding date had been set for the end of this month, prompting playful teasing directed at Josh.

Josh graciously accepted the lighthearted banter and well-wishes from the group.

“With the exception of Zachary, everyone here is still a bachelor,” he remarked.

Filling his glass with wine, Josh smiled and raised a toast, saying, “Here’s to all you bachelors! As of today, I’m officially out of your ranks. You won’t need to invite me to any bachelor activities from now on. Enjoy your wild nights without me!”

Remy smiled and said, “I envy you, Mr. Bucham.”

Duncan chimed in, “From this day forward, Josh will be henpecked just like Zachary.”

Zachary replied in a deep voice, “I may be henpecked, but you won’t even get the chance to be.”

Duncan retorted, “Zachary… that’s pretty harsh. Serenity, you need to keep him in line.”

Meanwhile, Serenity was preparing some food for her nephew. Sonny had already eaten dinner and wasn’t interested in a full meal, but he did help himself to some of his favorite side dishes.

“Zachary didn’t say anything wrong, so there’s no need for me to control him,” Serenity stated calmly.

Duncan chuckled and added, “See, this is what a married couple looks like. Your hearts are in sync. You’re the most envied couple among our friends.”

Kevin suggested, “Duncan, if you’re envious, you should find a girlfriend quickly so we can start envying you. Weren’t you chatting happily with Harmon Corporation’s vice president at the Marshall’s party? I saw you dancing together, and you seemed like a perfect match.”

Duncan immediately glanced at Serenity, concerned that she might spill the details to Liberty. However, Serenity had also attended that night and witnessed everything herself; if she had wanted to tell Liberty, she would have done so long ago.

Thus, he responded to Kevin calmly and honestly,

“That’s my mom’s preferred candidate, not someone I like. I already have a crush on someone else. If I manage to win her over and am fortunate enough to marry her, I’ll definitely treat you to an extravagant meal, just like Josh did.”

“F*ck you. Do I look uncultured?” Duncan joked, playfully punching Kevin.

Everyone was engaged in light-hearted banter, except for Julian, who quietly focused on his meal. He didn’t participate in the conversation because he felt out of place and had no interest in the topic. He was only present because his cousin, no longer a bachelor, had invited him to a celebratory dinner.

“Jasmine, have some fish. I’ve removed the skin for you.”

Noticing Julian was solely focused on eating and not contributing to the conversation, Josh began to show affection for Jasmine. Despite his playful demeanor, Josh was typically very considerate when they ate together. He had taken the time to remove the fish skin for Jasmine since she didn’t like it.

Meanwhile, Zachary wore disposable gloves as he peeled shrimp for Serenity and Sonny. Serenity loved shrimp, so no matter who invited them out, shrimp was always on the menu. It also served as a way for Zachary to demonstrate how he pampered his wife.

Josh scooped more food for Jasmine and called out to Julian.

“Anything? Everyone is chatting happily.” The others laughed and remarked, “Julian, you’re the king of bachelors.” Julian chuckled in response, “I’m not like you guys; I’m not a typical person.” The rest of the group fell silent. Serenity and Jasmine, eager to gossip, perked up their ears. They had heard many stories but were particularly interested in learning more about Julian.
