Zachary added, “There’s no need for you to worry; just collaborate with the designer. They will create a wedding dress that complements your figure and personality. You will undoubtedly be the most beautiful bride when you wear it.”
Serenity smiled and replied, “I believe I’ll still be your most beautiful bride, even without a custom wedding dress.”
She felt confident about her looks.
Zachary grinned in agreement. “Yes, you’ve always been my prettiest bride. I just want to give you the very best.”
He also intended to prepare wedding gifts for her.
His properties, along with what his family would contribute, would serve as the bridewealth. Zachary and Serenity left the office building and walked together to Zachary’s Rolls-Royce. “You don’t need to follow us anymore,” Zachary instructed the bodyguards.
The bodyguards responded respectfully.
Only after Zachary started the car and drove out of York Corporation did the bodyguards leave. Meanwhile, Josh invited his friends to dine at Wiltspoon Hotel.
He kept the guest list small, inviting only his close friends, along with Callum, Remy, and Julian.
Julian’s father, Walter, had privately asked Josh to include his son in the invitation.
His intention was clear—he wanted Josh to showcase their relationship to encourage Julian to consider marriage.
Josh understood that Julian was emotionally detached, but being a few years his senior, he felt concerned for his older cousin.
When Josh’s uncle asked him to invite Julian, he readily agreed.
On the other hand, Jasmine invited only Serenity and Elisa, though Elisa couldn’t make it at the last moment.
Since they were at Wiltspoon Hotel, Josh called Kevin to join them.
Once everyone had arrived, with the exception of Josh and Zachary, who were accompanied by their wives, the rest of the attendees were all bachelors.
“Mr. Bucham, Jasmine, congratulations!” Serenity offered her heartfelt blessings as she spotted the loving couple, now husband and wife.
“Thank you,” Jasmine replied with a smile as she bent down to pick up Sonny. “Sonny!”
“Jazz, you look so beautiful tonight,” Sonny exclaimed as soon as he was in her arms.
Jasmine hadn’t dressed up intentionally; she had merely applied light makeup and chosen a red outfit. The joyous occasion certainly lifted one’s spirits, making Jasmine radiate charm.
Her smile brightened even more after Sonny’s compliment. “Sonny, you’re a handsome boy too.”
Sonny remained calm at the praise; he was quite accustomed to hearing such compliments.
“Everyone, please take your seats,” Josh announced, directing everyone to sit down.
“Serenity, can I sit next to you?” Callum asked with a grin.
However, when Zachary shot him a glare, he quickly amended, “I-I’ll sit next to Sonny instead.”
Serenity sat between Zachary and Sonny, so if Callum sat next to Sonny, he would still be close to his sister-in-law.
Zachary’s tense expression softened only when Serenity took his hand. What a domineering man he was.
