Married at First Sight Chapter 1449

Chapter 1449
At the Buchams, Zachary’s luxury cars arrived early.
Zachary was not only Josh’s close friend and boss but also the matchmaker for both Josh and Jasmine. Naturally, Zachary and his wife were among the first to arrive.
The elders from both the Bucham and Sox families were present.
As Liam and Tania exited the car, the elders from the Bucham and Sox families approached them first, followed by Josh and Jasmine.
Since Liam and Tania were unfamiliar with Jasmine’s parents, Josh’s parents took the opportunity to introduce them.
After exchanging handshakes and engaging in small talk, Mrs. Sox looked at Tania and remarked with a smile, “Mrs. York resembles Zachary’s sister. She has such a youthful look.”
After stepping out of the car, Serenity walked over and overheard Mrs. Sox’s comment. She chuckled and added, “Exactly! When I went shopping with my mom, people often thought we were sisters.”
Tania smiled and replied, “You both know how to brighten my day.”
Mrs. Sox responded, “Mrs. York, we’re not just trying to please you; we’re speaking the truth. Having watched Serenity grow up, I can assure you that she is genuine. What she said is accurate.”
Serenity and Jasmine shared a close friendship, and Mrs. Sox typically looked after Serenity. Whenever there was delicious food at her house, Mrs. Sox would invite Serenity over for a meal or ask Jasmine to deliver the food to Serenity at her shop.
Because of this, Tania was eager to show her respect to Mrs. Sox.
The two engaged in a lively conversation.
Mrs. Bucham then welcomed everyone into the house.
Finally, Serenity found a moment to speak privately with her best friend.
“Is Liberty feeling any better?”
Jasmine was the first to inquire about Liberty’s health.
She had been preoccupied with her engagement, only calling Liberty to check on her condition over the past two days.

She did not visit Liberty in the hospital. “She’s recovering well. She’ll be discharged in a week to rest at home. My sister asked me to bring you this engagement gift. She hopes you and Mr. Bucham remain sweet together and live happily ever after until old age,” she said.

Jasmine smiled and replied, “Please thank Liberty for me. Josh and I will stay sweet until we’re old. Why didn’t you bring Sonny along?”

“I considered bringing Sonny, but my sister wouldn’t allow it. She said Sonny would act like a mobile third wheel. Sonny was upset about it, insisting he was Sonny, not a third wheel.”

At the mention of her adorable nephew, Serenity burst into laughter. That kid despised being called a third wheel the most. The last time Zachary referred to Sonny as such, Sonny was furious, insisting he was not a third wheel but Sonny Brown!

Jasmine found it amusing. Just then, Zachary and Josh approached.

“Honey,” the two men called their wives affectionately. Since Jasmine’s engagement party was already underway, she didn’t mind being called “honey.”

“Seren, I’ll serve the guests first,” Jasmine said. As the guest of honor, she needed to attend to everyone.

“Alright, go ahead. We’ll continue our conversation next time,” Serenity replied.

Jasmine walked over to Josh, linking her arm with his as they exited the villa to welcome the guests.

Zachary turned to Serenity and said softly, “Let me take a stroll around the Buchams’ villa with you. Once all the guests arrive, we’ll have to speak on stage since we’re the matchmakers.”

Serenity asked, “So we both have to speak on stage, huh?”

“Yes, we’re both their matchmakers,” he confirmed.

Serenity looped her arm through Zachary’s. “Okay, this will be my chance to express my wishes for my best friend.”
