Married at First Sight Chapter 1447

Chapter 1447
“I’m sorry, Mr. Callum,”
Camryn still declined Callum’s request.
Callum took the watering can from her hand, then pulled her to the counter and sat down. He said, “Camryn, please sit. I have something to discuss with you.”
“What’s the matter?”
Callum noticed that the two store employees were out delivering flowers to customers. In fact, he had intentionally called to order two bouquets to send them away.
Due to her two older aunts, the business of Spring Blossoms had declined.
“You’ve always wondered why I approached you and offered my help, right?”
While facing Callum, Camryn remained silent.
As much as she wanted answers, she knew that pressing him would yield no response. She felt confused.
When he first entered her flower shop, she was certain it was their first meeting.
“After the new year, Nana sent me two photos. One is for me, and the other is for Kevin. The one I received is a photo of you.”
Camryn was taken aback.
Since when did Old Mrs. York have her photograph?
Old Mrs. York even passed Camryn’s photo to Callum. What could this mean?
Camryn tried her hardest to remember but could not recall ever meeting Old Mrs. York.
She felt invisible among the Newmans, while Old Mrs. York was the matriarch of the York family. Not only did she hold the highest position in the family, but she was also well-regarded in Wiltspoon.
Camryn and Old Mrs. York had no connection.
After making that statement, Callum fell silent.
After a moment, Camryn couldn’t help but ask, “Mr. Callum, how did Old Mrs. York obtain my photo? Why did she give it to you, and what does it signify?”
He didn’t provide a clear answer, only deepening her curiosity.
This man treated her…

She knew him very well, but at times, he could be unpleasant.

“Take a guess,” he said.

“I can’t,” Camryn admitted honestly. “I need you to clarify something for me, Mr. Callum.”

Callum reached out to take her glasses off, commenting, “You wear such large glasses for such a small face. They nearly cover your entire face. You look great without them.”

“From now on, just call me Callum, Camryn,” he added.

Camryn fumbled to retrieve her glasses, as she was accustomed to wearing them.

Callum evaded her grasp and gently placed the glasses at the edge of the counter, just out of her reach.

He even spread his arms wide. As she struggled to reach for them, she accidentally brushed against his hand.

When Camryn realized she had touched his hand, she quickly pulled away.

“Camryn, I felt a tickle when you touched me,” he teased.

“Mr. Callum, it was purely an accident!” she replied, though his playful tone was unmistakable.

Camryn was no fool; she just preferred not to acknowledge it.
