Married at First Sight Chapter 1446

Chapter 1446
For several consecutive days, Serenity had struggled to sleep well after Liberty brought up a troubling topic. Each time she awoke suddenly in the middle of the night, she quietly made her way to Liberty’s bed to check on her sister. She would stretch out her hand to feel Liberty’s breath, and only after confirming that Liberty was still alive would she feel at ease.
Having lost both parents at a young age, Serenity understood the pain of losing loved ones, which heightened her fear of losing her only sister.
“Let’s go. I’m taking you upstairs to get changed,” Tania said.
The Yorks and the Buchams enjoyed a friendly relationship. With Josh’s recent engagement, Tania would certainly honor the Buchams by attending the engagement party. Additionally, Tania’s relatives, who had close ties with the Buchams, would also be present that evening.
Serenity gently rose to her feet and followed Tania upstairs.
Before long, Serenity had changed into a gown, applied light makeup, and slipped on a pair of high heels. She also carried the engagement gift she had prepared for her best friend as she headed downstairs with Tania.
Liam and Zachary were waiting for them in the dining room.
As Serenity and Tania descended the stairs, Liam and Zachary greeted their beloved wives warmly.
Zachary said, “Seren, go eat something to fill your stomach first.”
Serenity had barely eaten anything at noon.
She knew she wouldn’t be able to enjoy a meal at the Buchams’ house.
Zachary was worried that Serenity might be starving.
Though Serenity had felt hungry for a while, she was too shy to admit it. Luckily, Zachary was considerate enough to encourage her to eat first.
The four of them were ready to leave the house, while Callum continued to urge Camryn to visit the

“Camryn, I’ve helped you a lot. Now I’m asking for a favor, yet you turned me down. How disloyal of you,” Callum complained, sticking to Camryn like glue as she watered some plants.

As she listened to Callum’s grumbling, Camryn halted, turned to face him, and replied casually, “I appreciate your help, Mr. Callum. I’ve always treated you to meals as a token of gratitude after receiving your assistance. We don’t owe each other anything now. I can’t attend social gatherings with you; that’s something your girlfriend or wife should do.”

Callum looked at her and said, “Your eldest uncle asked me to take responsibility for you. To me, you’re my girlfriend.”

Camryn was taken aback. After a moment of silence, she responded, “Mr. Callum, ever since I sued my uncle, everyone has judged me. How will others perceive you if you take me to the Buchams’ place? I don’t mind facing criticism, but I don’t want you to endure the same.”

“You prioritize righteousness over family loyalty to avenge your father, so why would they judge you? You shouldn’t worry about what your aunts say; they side with your uncle!”

After Camryn sued her biological mother and uncle for her father’s murder twenty years ago, two of Mr. Newman’s sisters confronted her harshly. If Callum hadn’t been there, her aunts would have caused significant damage to Spring Blossoms.

Only Camryn’s youngest aunt stood by her side, though she was very concerned for her well-being. The police had investigated her eldest uncle, and he was likely to be sentenced, but it would be for other offenses committed with her biological mother, not for the murder of her father.

Currently, there is no evidence supporting the claim that her uncle murdered her biological father. Her recording may not be persuasive enough. Mr. Newman hired the top lawyer in Wiltspoon for himself and Camryn’s mother. Camryn’s youngest aunt is concerned that Camryn may lose her standing in Wiltspoon. Although Camryn has done nothing wrong, her two older aunts refuse to let her go unscathed. They are married into affluent families in Wiltspoon and have recently been spreading rumors and speaking ill of her. This situation has negatively impacted Camryn’s flower shop business. Instead of purchasing flowers, many customers have recently come to her shop just to see Camryn, who prioritizes righteousness over family loyalty.
