Married at First Sight Chapter 1433

Chapter 1433
1/2
Zachary intentionally wore a long face. “It’s karma. I received so many calls that my phone died. Even Remy offered to introduce me to a miracle doctor for my condition.”
Serenity couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of Zachary being fussed over by everyone.
After her laughter subsided, she asked him, “Why didn’t you accept Remy’s offer to introduce you to a miracle healer? You should ask that genius doctor if there’s a chance he could treat Camryn’s eyes.”
“I completely forgot about that.”
Zachary smiled. “At that moment, I was so frustrated by their concern that I lost my mind. I totally overlooked Callum. However, I did speak to Callum about this earlier. Ms. Newman’s aunt went to Annenburg to find the doctor, but she couldn’t locate him.”
“Remy’s fourth brother is the only disciple of the genius doctor. There’s a 99% chance he’ll marry soon. Once Dr. Carden becomes the fourth missus of the Johnson family, it will be much easier for Callum to seek the doctor’s assistance.”
“99% chance?”
Zachary nodded in agreement. “Dr. Carden saved Tim and got pregnant, but she isn’t keen on marrying him. The men in the Johnson family are just like the Yorks; they are all singularly devoted. When Tim learned that Dr. Carden was pregnant, he followed her back.”
“Remy mentioned that Tim will likely marry her, and Dr. Carden will return to the Johnson family after giving birth. However, she’s quite far along now, making it difficult for her to provide consultations. Ms. Newman will have to wait a few months until Dr. Carden gives birth and recovers before her eyes can be treated.”
Serenity listened intently, intrigued by the numerous stories surrounding the Johnson family.
The couple agreed to travel to Annenburg to visit the

Johnsons, but Serenity couldn’t leave Wiltspoon now that Liberty was injured. The trip had to be postponed for the time being.

“Seren, are you feeling sleepy? Go rest with Sonny for a bit; I’ll wake you when I’m tired,” Zachary suggested.

“Sonny is sleeping soundly right now. That psychic is truly remarkable,” she replied.

Zachary said, “Nana trusts him, so he must be amazing. He predicted our future, saying we’re destined to have a son and a daughter, so there’s no need for you to worry. Children will come to us, sooner or later.”

Serenity nodded, feeling reassured by the notion of having a son and daughter. It seemed she could have children—it was just not the right time yet.

“I noticed you slipped away to ask the psychic something. What did you inquire about? Or was his statement about us having a son and daughter just a pre-arranged script to make me happy?” Serenity pondered.

Zachary quickly responded, “Seren, I had never met that psychic before today, and I don’t really believe in such things. It’s Nana who does. How could I have made arrangements ahead of time? The question I secretly asked him was when we might have our child. It wasn’t out of anxiety but concern that you might overthink things.”

Serenity leaned forward, asking eagerly, “What did he say?”

“He mentioned our efforts would bear fruit from late summer to early fall,” he replied.

Serenity inquired, “September? October?”

It seemed they still had to wait a few months.

Zachary wrapped his arms around her gently, saying, “We’ll receive good news this year, sweetheart. You really need to stop putting pressure on yourself and focus on living well each day. Once Liberty is discharged from the hospital, I’ll arrange for someone to come over and tailor your wedding dress. Hopefully, the baby will…”

“Please come after the wedding, as I don’t want you to feel tired.”
