After leaving the room, Callum led Camryn to another space, ordered food again, and insisted that she treat him to lunch.

He asserted, “Your uncle attempted to force me into marriage. I’ve endured quite a bit, so you owe me lunch.”

Camryn felt both amused and frustrated. “I never said I wouldn’t. There’s no need for excuses.”

“I’ll take you home after lunch. You should pack your things and move out of that house. I’m concerned that your uncle might do something to you.”

“Where am I supposed to go?”

“To my place, of course. I have a house near yours. You can stay there, and I’ll arrange for someone to take care of you. Don’t worry; I won’t be living in the same house to avoid any rumors about us cohabiting before marriage.”

Camryn hesitated. “Mr. Callum, please stop mentioning marriage. I won’t comply with my uncle’s plans. I’ll have my assistant help me organize the small room in my store later. I can stay there for now. It’s also more convenient.”

She planned to return home once her uncle was arrested.

“Sonny, just place the bouquet next to your mom’s pillow,” Serenity advised as she walked over to assist her nephew. With a gentle smile, she added, “Liberty, Zachary only helped with cutting and wrapping the flowers. Sonny is the one who picked them.”

Liberty’s smile deepened at this.

“Aunt Audrey and Elisa, you two should go home and rest. Leave my sister in our care for now. Aunt Audrey, you worry too much. Liberty will heal quickly,” Serenity reassured them as she and Zachary took over watching Liberty for the night.

Audrey had been keeping an eye on Liberty for half a day and felt a sense of relief when she noticed that Liberty’s mental state had improved since the morning.
