Married at First Sight Chapter 1421

Chapter 1421
After a brief silence, Camryn remarked, “It will inconvenience Mr. Callum.”
“You don’t need to call him Mr. Callum; that feels too formal. Just call him Callum. We’re friends, and he’s my brother-in-law. You two have known each other for a while, so you’re friends as well.”
Callum cast a thankful glance at his sister-in-law.
Camryn smiled but did not respond.
Since Liberty still needed to rest, Camryn couldn’t stay for long.
Once Audrey and Elisa arrived, Camryn and Callum left together.
“Seren, you take Sonny and Zachary home for lunch and let them rest this afternoon. Elisa and I will stay here to look after your sister. You two can return tonight to take over.”
Although Audrey wanted to watch over Liberty at night as well, she couldn’t outmaneuver Serenity.
She understood Serenity’s concerns.
Her own children were also worried about her health in her old age.
Serenity turned to her sister.
“Listen to Aunt Audrey, Seren.”
Liberty replied gently, “It pains me to see how worn out you look right now. I’m fine. I won’t die. I promised Mom and Dad I would take care of you and Sonny, and I intend to keep my word. Please go home with Sonny and rest.”
Zachary entered the room after speaking with Liberty’s attending doctor about her injuries and their after-effects.
“Aunt Audrey.” He held a deep respect for Audrey and greeted her politely whenever they met.
When interacting with Elisa, he often had to bite his lip before reluctantly greeting her.
Elisa recognized that this wasn’t the right moment for laughter, yet she couldn’t help it.
Zachary had previously been too arrogant to even glance at her, but now he had to lower his guard.

He lowered his head and set aside his ego to call her name in a pleasant tone. He no longer dared to look down on her as he had in the past. Elisa felt as though she might burst into song and dance. After greeting Elisa, Zachary turned to his wife, not wanting to see Elisa’s smug expression.

“Listen to your sister, Serenity. Let’s go back and rest for a while. We can only keep an eye on Liberty at night after a good rest,” he said. Serenity was concerned about her sister, but Zachary was more worried about Serenity.

With the encouragement of her sister and aunt, Serenity took Sonny and left the hospital with her husband. Once they exited the ward, Zachary picked up Sonny and told Serenity, “Let’s head back to the manor. Nana invited a psychic to check on Sonny since he was quite frightened.”

Zachary was skeptical about such things; however, his nana insisted, and he figured there was no harm in it, so he allowed her to proceed. Serenity had no objections either. At worst, it would become another viral topic online. The trending search regarding their struggle to conceive had been removed, but his clarification statement remained a hot topic in entertainment news.

Zachary did not bother to read what netizens were saying; they could believe what they wanted. He clarified the situation because he did not want people to think there was something wrong with Serenity, nor did he want her to feel pressured.

Some reporters reached out to his mother, but she and the elders made their stance clear: it was up to the young couple to decide when to start their family, and they could have a child whenever they chose. Despite this, Zachary kept this information from Serenity, not wanting her to be bothered by trivial matters when she was already so worried.
