The Amazing Son In Law (The Charismatic Charlie Wade) Chapter 403

Charlie burst into laughter at Jeffrey’s comment. Rather than getting upset, he maintained a calm smile and asked, “So, can you tell me why you think I don’t belong here?”

Jeffrey shot him a condescending look and scoffed, “Do you really need me to spell it out for you? You clearly don’t belong here! Just look at your messy clothes—honestly, you look worse than those valet parking guys!”

Charlie chuckled lightly. “What I wear is entirely up to me. Does the Glorious Club enforce a strict dress code for its patrons?”

Jeffrey sneered in response. “Not exactly. You can wear whatever you like, but remember, this is a members-only establishment! Non-members are absolutely not allowed!” He regarded Charlie with disdain. “Are you a Classic member here?”

Charlie shook his head gently. “No.”

“Then, are you a Silver member?”

“No.”

Jeffrey’s scornful laugh echoed. “Don’t tell me you’re claiming to be a Gold member!”

Charlie casually spread his hands. “Nope.”

Jeffrey laughed mockingly. “Oh my god, you pathetic freeloader! Are you seriously saying you’re a VIP member? As far as I know, there are only ten VIPs in Aurous Hill!”

Charlie smiled softly, revealing two rows of white teeth. “Nope, try again.”

Jeffrey frowned in confusion. “What the heck are you then? I bet you snuck in here when no one was looking just to score a free meal, am I right?”

Wendy, standing next to Jeffrey, chimed in with sarcasm, “Of course he did! He’s just a loser who got kicked out of our family—how could he possibly be a member here? He definitely sneaked in like the pathetic loser he is!”

She then glared at Charlie and added, “Charlie, you’ve come to the wrong place today! This is the Moore family’s newly opened high-end Glorious Club, and today is its soft launch. The guests here are all prominent figures in the city. How dare you sneak in and cause a scene! Aren’t you worried that the security guards will throw you out and give you a beating?”

Charlie feigned innocence. “I’m a member here; why would the security guards want to kick me out?”

Jeffrey scoffed. “Are you seriously messing with me right now? There are only four membership tiers: Classic, Silver, Gold, and VIP! You’re none of those—how dare you claim to be a member?”

Charlie replied sincerely, “Believe it or not, I really am a member. I’m not in one of those tiers, but I hold the All Access Supreme VIP membership. Haven’t you heard of it?”

“Shut up!” Jeffrey retorted contemptuously. “Just shut the heck up! Didn’t you see the introduction board in the lobby? There are only four tiers! You’re quite the storyteller, aren’t you? All Access Supreme VIP—what a joke! Aren’t you afraid of upsetting the Moore family with your nonsense?”

Charlie shook his head, feeling exasperated. “You’re being so strange. I’m telling you the truth—why don’t you believe me?”

“You want me to believe you?” Jeffrey cackled as if he had just heard the funniest joke. “Do you really think you can fool me, you little deadbeat? I’m Jeffrey Weaver!”

Curious, Charlie asked, “Are you famous? I’ve never heard of you before.”

Jeffrey sneered, “Weaver Pharmaceuticals—ever heard of it? I’m the general manager there.”

Charlie shook his head. “I’m sorry, I haven’t heard of it.”

Jeffrey’s expression darkened, convinced that Charlie was mocking him. “Buddy, you’re in trouble today. You barged into this place claiming to be some kind of Supreme VIP member. Who the heck gave you that title? You’re such a liar!”

Unfazed, Charlie shook his head again, pulled out his membership card, and said, “Look for yourself. This is my membership card. It clearly states ‘All Access Supreme VIP’, doesn’t it?”
