Seeing Hayden was like looking at an attractive man. Kevin thought he might be gay if his heart raced at the sight of a handsome guy.
The Queen family’s bodyguards acknowledged Kevin as he brought the meal in. “Mr. York.” Kevin oversaw all the hotels under York Corporation. When he and Zachary were not in the same room, everyone referred to him as Mr. York.
If Zachary was present, they called him Mr. Kevin instead.
Kevin nodded at the bodyguards before pushing the door open and entering the ward. He spotted Hayden sitting quietly by the bed, silently watching his grandmother. Meanwhile, Grandma May was eating an apple and talking, but Hayden remained silent.
Grandma May appeared relieved to see him enter.
Suddenly, Kevin felt an overwhelming urge to turn around and leave.
“Kevin.”

He immediately called out to him. Kevin walked over to greet his nana and Hayden. “Mr. York,” Hayden said as she stood up, stopping her conversation with Kevin. After a brief moment, she found a reason to excuse herself. Grandma May then asked her grandson to see Hayden out. Two minutes later, Kevin returned to the ward. “Back so soon?” he asked, amused. “How long did you expect me to be gone? Mr. Queen is very busy and has lunch plans with an important client. She only stopped by to see you because she was passing by the hospital.” If it weren’t for the fact that Grandma May fell and was hospitalized after being startled by Hayden’s car, which made Hayden feel responsible, she likely wouldn’t have taken the time to visit the elderly woman.
