By the time they arrived at the Buchams’ residence, Josh was waiting at the entrance. “Zachary,” he greeted with a smile upon seeing him. Zachary got out of the car and walked into the house with Josh. “Any news?” he asked. “Yeah,” Josh replied, and the conversation ended there.
Julian was sitting on the sofa in the living room. He stood up when he saw the boys but did not approach Zachary right away. Instead, Julian waited until Zachary was closer and smiled, saying, “We’re accustomed to the nightlife, Mr. York. I hope I didn’t disturb your rest by calling you over so late.”
