Married at First Sight Chapter 1285

Chapter 1285
Serenity pondered for a moment before responding, “I don’t experience much stress. My in-laws aren’t pressuring me either. Nana only occasionally mentions wanting a great-granddaughter. Zachary said he plans to take me to Annenburg once he finishes his work, and we’ll be visiting Mr. Young-Johnson.”
Zachary thought Serenity had few friends, so he was trying to connect her with Ben’s wife, Jane.
Since Remy was part of the Johnson family and was in love with Elisa, Serenity could befriend Jane to gain insight into the Johnson family for Elisa. At the very least, she could assess whether the Johnsons were as kind as they appeared in public.
From Serenity’s perspective, Elisa and Remy got along well and looked great together. She would support Elisa and try to convince Aunt Audrey if the Johnsons turned out to be a good family and if Elisa developed feelings for Remy as well.
While Remy was originally from Annenburg, he had purchased a house next to the Stones and managed FC & Co.’s operations in Wiltspoon. He was based there, which meant that if Elisa married Remy, she would still live in Wiltspoon, and in fact, right next door to her family.
However, it was still too early to discuss this. Remy hadn’t expressed his feelings for Elisa, nor had Elisa shared her thoughts about him.
“Okay. You should travel and get some fresh air. A child will come when you’re feeling good. I suppose Zachary isn’t in a hurry since your in-laws aren’t pressuring you to start a family. Don’t fixate on getting pregnant.”
“If you can’t conceive after trying for two years, you might want to get a physical to determine the cause. S–Sometimes…”
Mrs. Stone struggled to find the right words.
Serenity watched her, encouraging her aunt to continue.
Since nothing was

In a private conversation, Mrs. Stone whispered to the girls, “Sometimes, frequent sex can impact your chances of conceiving.” Serenity was momentarily speechless.

Mrs. Stone, having guessed Serenity’s reaction, smiled and said, “You’re still in your honeymoon phase. That’s completely normal, but you can’t always let Zachary have his way. You need to prioritize your health.”

“I will, Aunt Audrey. He’s not the type to only care about his own pleasure.”

Serenity realized she needed to talk to Zachary. He didn’t have to work tirelessly during the day and then exhaust himself at night. This constant activity was not conducive to starting a family.

“Zachary treats you well, so I’m not too worried. My concern is for your sister. Does Duncan have feelings for her? He gets along well with Sonny and is always helping her.”

“Mr. Lewis said he simply took a liking to Sonny. My sister isn’t interested in him romantically.”

Both Mrs. Stone and Serenity sensed Duncan’s affection for Liberty, even if Duncan himself denied it, claiming he was only fond of Sonny. It was clear that Liberty did not share those feelings for Duncan.

After a moment of silence, Mrs. Stone offered her thoughts. “I admire Duncan’s talent, but Mrs. Lewis won’t win any mother-in-law awards. She doesn’t care for your sister’s upbringing. It’s fine if they remain friends, but…”

She let her statement trail off.

“Don’t worry, Aunt Audrey. It won’t be easy for my sister to fall in love again.”

Serenity hoped her sister would find a second chance at love and experience greater happiness than she had with Hank. Liberty’s failed marriage had been a significant blow, and Serenity couldn’t forget how her sister had wept when she first decided to…

consider pursuing a divorce. Liberty had shut her heart away, unwilling to let anyone in. “Sigh. I suppose we can only accept it,” Mrs. Stone realized that discussing or trying to prevent the situation was futile. “Take your nap, Aunt Audrey. I’m heading back to the shop.” “Of course,” Mrs. Stone replied, reminding her to stay safe on the road.
