Before responding, Serenity expressed her concerns: “Remy lives in Annenburg, which is too far away. I’m not ready for Elisa to move. It would be helpful if you could talk to Zachary about stepping back from Elisa. I want to prevent any further hurt for her.”
“Didn’t Mr. Johnson buy a house next door? You’ll be neighbors. How far is that?”
Mrs. Stone replied, “No matter how many properties he acquires, he will always be from Annenburg.”
Serenity was left speechless.
“Aunt Audrey, it’s time for you and Zachary to start a family.”
“Aunt Audrey, I’m not pregnant, even though Zachary and I don’t use protection. I’m unsure if I have a fertility issue, so I’m considering getting a checkup if I’m not pregnant in the next few weeks. I’d want to start treatment early if there’s a problem on my end.”
“If Zachary has an issue, we can ensure he gets the necessary treatment as well.”
However, Serenity suspected the problem was likely with her, as Zachary was exceptional in bed. It was hard to believe that her strong, manly partner could be infertile.
Mrs. Stone was worried. “You both are fit and healthy. I doubt there’s a health issue. Try to relax. Sometimes, the stress of trying can make it more difficult to conceive. Taking it easy might lead to a surprise baby.”
“Aunt Audrey, some people might seem healthy but could still have underlying issues. You can’t know what’s wrong without a physical examination.”
Mrs. Stone then asked Serenity about her menstrual cycle and added, “Period cramps shouldn’t affect your ability to get pregnant. You might be experiencing a lot of stress. Are your in-laws putting pressure on you? Don’t let that bother you. Just relax and take it easy.”
It’s simple: if things become overwhelming, take a vacation with Zachary.
