Married at First Sight Chapter 1214

Chapter 1214
“A few thousand per square foot.”
Serenity looked at her two uncles and two cousins and asked, “Do you have any objections? If not, we’ll proceed with Granddad’s plan. I’ll arrange for someone to help me draft the contract, and then we’ll notarize the agreement. Granddad and Grandmom will not have any claim to the property my parents left behind in the future.”
“They don’t need to move out, but you must cover the rent and utilities each month. We won’t take advantage of you, but don’t even think about taking advantage of us either.”
Zachary leaned in and whispered in Serenity’s ear, “Transfer the ownership first. Even though your dad’s name is on the title deed, your grandparents are still living. You and your sister can only fully inherit it if they sign away their share.”
If the title deed was transferred to the sisters’ names, future disputes with those individuals would be avoided.
Serenity nodded in agreement.
The Hunt family had no objections. Mike said, “Alright, Serenity. You will buy Grandmom and Granddad’s share of the land. In the future, our grandparents will stay in your house while we pay their rent and utility bills. However, we still need to discuss this with Uncle David.”
“You two can return tomorrow with the agreement and call the mayor to witness the signing.”
“Deal.”
Liberty readily agreed.
It was beneficial for the sisters to negotiate the settlement of their parents’ inheritance without further complications.
The Hunts were eager to return home after the discussion. As Old Mr. Hunt exited the hotel, he turned to look at the two Hunt sisters for a long moment. His lips pressed together, but he ultimately said nothing.
After they left, Liberty took her son’s hand and said to

Her sister and brother-in-law, Seren and Zachary, said, “I’ll go back with Sonny now.”
“I’ll send you back,” Zachary offered.
Liberty smiled and replied, “No need. I came here on my e-bike.”
“Go get a car, Liberty, or I can give you one,” Seren suggested.
“No, I’ll look for a car when I’m free in a couple of days. I have money to buy one for myself. I won’t be busy during the weekend, so accompany me then.” Liberty consistently declined her sister and brother-in-law’s offers of a car or a house.
She had the funds to purchase a car, and while she couldn’t afford a house at the moment, her business was thriving. She was confident she would earn enough to buy a house after several years of hard work.
Liberty left Wiltspoon Hotel with Sonny on her e-bike.
On their way, they encountered Duncan again.
Liberty felt that Wiltspoon was too small; she seemed to run into Duncan everywhere.
Duncan spotted Liberty first and honked loudly at her and Sonny. Not realizing it was him, Liberty glanced back when she heard the honking and saw Duncan smiling and waving.
When Liberty noticed Duncan pulling over, she stopped her bike.
Duncan parked his car and approached the mother and son, gently patting Sonny, who was sitting in the child’s seat, with a soft look in his eyes.
“Where are you taking Sonny, Liberty?” he asked.
At that moment, a BMW drove by. The female driver, upon seeing the scene, turned to the passenger and said, “Mrs. Lewis, is that Duncan?”
