Married at First Sight Chapter 1193

Chapter 1193
Callum glanced at her and remarked, “You’re blind. You can’t wave down the bus even if it passes by.”
Camryn responded, “The security guards at the main entrance are very helpful. They wave down the bus for me every day and watch me board.”
Callum remained silent.
After all, they didn’t know each other well.
Initially, Callum had no intention of acting so quickly. After being tricked by his sister-in-law, he began to pursue Camryn passively to avoid embarrassing himself in front of his brother and sister-in-law.
His grandmother had only provided him with basic information; he knew nothing else about her.
Without understanding or familiarity, there wasn’t much to discuss.
One of them drove attentively while the other focused on the music playing in the car.
The car came to a stop upon reaching Spring Blossoms.
Callum turned to Camryn and said, “Ms. Newman, we’ve arrived at your flower shop.”
She replied with an acknowledgment, unbuckled her seatbelt, and bent over to retrieve her umbrella from beside her feet. She then felt around to open the door, exited the car carefully, and opened her umbrella.
However, since she was in a car, she was unsure of her orientation. Confused, she stood there with the umbrella overhead.
Blind individuals can only navigate freely in familiar surroundings. Their routines typically remain unchanged, and when they do, they can easily lose their sense of direction.
Camryn usually traveled by bus, getting off at a nearby stop. She had memorized the directions she needed to take after disembarking and the number of steps to walk. Usually, everything went smoothly.
However, today Callum had dropped her off at the flower shop, and she had no idea where he had parked his car. Did she need to turn…

“Should I turn left, right, or go straight after getting off?”

Camryn took a moment to calm down after feeling flustered. She decided to walk straight ahead.

However, after taking just a few steps, she bumped into someone.

“I’m sorry! Sorry!” she quickly apologized.

“Turn right and walk straight. The entrance to your shop will be there,” Callum kindly offered directions. The person she had just collided with was not a stranger; it was Callum, who had walked around the car and intended to enter the shop with her.

Camryn had been heading in the wrong direction and would have walked into another store had she not bumped into him.

“Thank you,” she said gratefully.

With Callum’s guidance, Camryn made her way to her store’s entrance seamlessly. She retrieved a key from her pocket and placed her hand on the doorknob. After feeling it, she inserted the key and opened the door.

Callum observed that she only had one key, which helped her avoid confusion with multiple keys.

He stood to the side, refraining from offering assistance. He had tested her earlier and confirmed that Camryn was still blind, and he was curious about her daily life.

This was his first interaction with a blind person, and while he felt a sense of curiosity, he hadn’t yet considered pursuing her seriously. He imagined she would likely chase him away with her white cane if he expressed romantic interest.

Camryn, on her part, did not expect Callum to help her.

Once she unlocked the door, she bent down to push the shutter up. It didn’t slide all the way, so she entered the store at a leisurely pace, grabbed a long stick, and used it to fully lift the shutter.
