“Elisa, do you think we’re friends now?” Remy asked, tilting his head slightly.

Elisa glanced at him before turning her attention back to the road. With a smile, she replied, “Yes, we’re friends, and we’re also neighbors.”

Remy observed her profile quietly. She was a bright young woman, and her beauty was well-known.

“Can I ask you a personal question?”

“Sure, go ahead. I’ll answer if I feel comfortable, but please understand if I can’t. Everyone deserves to keep some things private.”

Remy smiled and inquired, “What type of men do you like? Other than Mr. York, of course.”

He was aware of Elisa’s interest in Zachary.

After all, he maintained a good relationship with both the York Corporation and Zachary himself.
