Married at First Sight Chapter 1136

Chapter 1136
After enjoying the treats sent by Josh, Jasmine picked up her phone and messaged him: [Mr. Bucham, the treats you sent are delicious. I really liked them. Love you!]
Mr. Bucham replied almost immediately: [I’m glad you liked them! I’ll send two more boxes to you tomorrow.]
For Josh, raising a foodie was simple; he just needed to cater to her tastes.
“Elisa didn’t come over today,” Jasmine remarked casually.
Serenity replied, “Her best friend just went through a breakup. She needs to comfort her.”
In reality, Elisa was not comforting her heartbroken best friend but was visiting her new neighbor.
Elisa planned to head out in the afternoon. As she drove past her neighbor’s villa, she noticed the gate was open and saw Remy’s car parked inside. Remy happened to be standing in the courtyard, so she decided to stop her car.
Initially, she intended to greet Remy, but he invited her to stroll around his villa instead. She parked her car in front of his house and decided to join him for a bit.
This villa was the closest to the Stones’, so Elisa had visited it with her parents before and remembered the beautiful courtyard. While walking with Remy, she commented, “I don’t think there’s much need to change the courtyard. The flowers and trees are thriving. If you decide to plant new ones, it’ll take a lot of effort to ensure they grow well.”
Remy smiled and replied, “I was considering replacing all the plants, but your suggestion makes sense. Instead, I’ll rearrange them. I’ll remove the ones I don’t like and plant the ones I prefer.”
Elisa nodded in agreement.
The house layout needed some changes, and the villa’s entrance required reorientation.
The interior designer Remy hired mentioned that the original layout was outdated.

The original owner did not hire anyone to refresh the interior since the date of the last update. Design trends have come and gone; once new styles emerge, the old ones are often discarded.

“Elisa, I lack good taste. Please help me determine which style would suit my villa if it were to be renovated. I’m considering this villa as my future home in Wiltspoon. When I get married and have children, we plan to live here.”

“Women and men often have different tastes. Please use your own judgment and provide me with some suggestions,” he added.

Elisa responded, “Everyone has different preferences. If I assist you based on my taste and your villa is renovated accordingly, what if your future wife doesn’t like the style?”

Remy looked at her warmly, smiling. “I trust your taste. I am confident my future wife will appreciate the same style. You rank at the top of Wiltspoon’s upper class, and I believe no one has better taste than you.”

He spoke sincerely.

Elisa held a prominent status in Wiltspoon’s upper class, particularly because the wealthiest family lacked any daughters.

With confidence, Elisa replied, “That’s true. Just don’t blame me if you follow my suggestions and the result isn’t to your or your future wife’s liking.”

“I won’t—I assure you I won’t. I have faith in your taste, Elisa. I admire the style of your house,” Remy said.

Elisa laughed and said, “Our home reflects my mom’s preferences. She loves classic beauty and understated luxury.”

Remy complimented her mother, “Mrs. Stone has excellent taste. My grandmother shares the same aesthetic. Elisa, if you have time, please come often and offer me more suggestions.”
