Married at First Sight Chapter 1106

Chapter 1106
Camryn maintained her smile and replied, “I also sell flowerpots, fertilizers, potting soil, and more. What do you need, sir?”
Callum pursed his lips. The woman in front of him spoke with a constant smile, yet she emitted a delicate aura.
However, her words were sharp.
“I’ll just take a look.”
Callum walked past Camryn and entered the store to browse.
After taking a round, he turned to find that Camryn was following him at a short distance.
Why was she following him if she was pretending to be blind? Was she revealing her true self?
“Sir?” Camryn called out when she noticed his footsteps had ceased.
Callum felt uncertain again upon seeing her expression. Was she truly blind, or merely pretending?
He decided to test her.
After looking around the store, his gaze finally landed on a potted cactus. He picked it up, placed it on the counter, and asked, “I want this one. How much is it?”

Camryn turned toward his voice and approached him.
“Which pot did you choose, sir? Could you tell me where it was originally located? I… can’t see.”
Callum gazed into her large eyes. She wasn’t wearing sunglasses now, so her eyes were clearly visible.
Her large eyes were unfocused; they would have been beautiful if she weren’t blind.
“You can’t see? Then how were you able to follow me earlier?”
Camryn retrieved her glasses case from her pocket, opened it, took out her sunglasses, and put them on. Then she replied, “I have excellent hearing and can detect subtle movements.
“I followed you by listening to the sound of your footsteps.”
Callum nodded. He had heard before that blind people often had enhanced hearing.
“I randomly selected one without checking its position. You should be familiar with the flowers in your own store. Can’t you use your sense of touch to identify the pot I chose?”
He couldn’t believe that his nana had really picked a blind woman for him.
He needed to test her.
“I set the pot on your checkout counter.”
Camryn remained silent as she approached
and reached out to feel the pot on the counter. When she touched it with both hands, the cactus’s thorns pricked her fingers.
She instinctively pulled her hand back.
Callum observed her closely and noted that she did indeed touch the cactus. She appeared to be a blind person who relied on her sense of touch.
“Sir, you chose a cactus.”
Camryn extended her hands again. This time, she placed them on the counter and carefully searched for the pot. After assessing its size, she said, “Sir, the cactus you selected is a large one. It’s a bit more expensive and costs forty-five dollars.”
“That’s too pricey. What about a smaller pot? Something suitable for a desk.”
“The small ones range from ten to twenty dollars. If you want to place it on your desk, you can choose a small pot. The one priced at sixteen dollars is a good option.”
As she spoke, she slowly walked to a plant rack, felt for a small cactus pot, and handed it to Callum.
Callum’s aim was to determine whether
Camryn was genuinely blind.
From this test, it appeared that she was indeed blind. Callum decided to end his little experiment. There would be plenty of opportunities to test her again in the future, so he simply said, “All right. I’ll take it.”
