Married at First Sight Chapter 958

Chapter 958
“There’s always wind blowing from every direction.”
Grandma May swatted away Callum’s hand as he tried to assist her. “No need for that. I’m still fit and healthy. I won’t pass on until I see all of you marry and have children.”
“Then I won’t marry or have kids. I’ll make sure you live to be two hundred, Nana.”
Grandma May playfully hit Callum.
“You little rascal. I followed your big brother to the office today to discuss your marriage.”
Callum was at a loss for words. Was it too late for him to escape now?
Of course, it was.
He quickly helped his nana to the couch, then knelt in front of her to massage her legs. Curiously yet nervously, he asked, “Who do you have in mind, Nana? Is it someone I know?”
He was aware that his nana had recently set her sights on him.
Being the second-born, it was now his turn since the eldest had already married.
“Nana, let me say this upfront: I’m not interested in marrying anyone out of the blue. Please don’t lie on the ground again, pretending to need saving, only to force me to marry someone to repay her.”
Grandma May smiled and replied, “I used that tactic for Zachary, but I won’t do it again with you. Don’t worry.”
“So, who is she?”
“Curious, are we?”
“Of course! You’re the one who chose her. I want to know which woman has caught my nana’s attention.”
To be honest, even now, he didn’t understand why his grandmother selected Serenity to be their eldest sister-in-law.
So, he seized the chance to ask.
Grandma May explained, “I was genuinely unwell at that time and was saved by Serenity. Don’t imply that I was orchestrating some insurance fraud. I also…

“I really like Serenity, but the reason I insisted that Zack marry her was because of a fortune teller. He predicted that Serenity and Zack were destined to be husband and wife.”

Callum was taken aback but continued, “Nana, where did this fortune teller come from? Is he really that impressive?”

“All fortune tellers can determine if a couple is meant for marriage.”

Grandma May did not reveal the identity of the fortune teller.

“Could you pour me a glass of water?”

“Of course.”

Callum quickly poured her a cup of warm water.

The old woman took two sips, then slowly pulled out two photographs and handed them to Callum, saying, “Choose one of the two as your target. I’ll give you one year to achieve your goal.”

“What if we don’t end up together after a year?”

“Then you can leave! You can come back once you’ve accomplished the goal.”

Callum was speechless. “Nana, that’s so harsh. We’re your grandsons.”

“Grandsons are worthless.”

“I could undergo a sex change operation and become your granddaughter instead.”

“Be my guest, but even if you do that, you still won’t be a granddaughter in my eyes.”

Callum chuckled. “I’m just kidding, Nana.”

He had no desire to become a woman.

He took the two photos from her hands and examined them. His eyes widened as he pointed to one of the photos, asking, “Nana, are you sure you’re looking for a wife for me? It seems more like you’re searching for a brother instead.”

One of the pictures featured a handsome man.

Grandma May rolled her eyes. “Have you heard of Ms. Stoll, the President of Stoll Corporation in Annenburg? Casey Stoll is a woman who looks like a man. If it weren’t for her impending marriage and pregnancy, many people would have thought that…”

She was, in fact, a man.
