Married at First Sight Chapter 932

Chapter 932
As usual, Sonny’s face was smeared with rice, and there was plenty scattered across the table. Mrs. Stone and Elisa left him to his mess, believing that he needed to learn to clean up after himself. Even if he struggled at first, they reasoned that the more he practiced, the better he would become.
In a few months, Sonny would turn three, making it the right time for him to learn how to eat properly.
Zachary gently patted Sonny on the head before turning his attention to Mrs. Stone, addressing her softly as “Aunt Audrey.”
Mrs. Stone replied kindly, “Mm. I’m coming. You can start eating.”
A servant had already set the cutlery for Zachary.
After acknowledging Mrs. Stone, Zachary shifted his gaze to Elisa. She was absorbed in her meal and didn’t smile at him as she usually did. After pursing his lips, he said, “Hi, cuz!”
“Ha-”
“Ahem-”
Elisa spat out her food, immediately choking and coughing.
Mrs. Stone, sitting closest to Elisa, quickly handed her a glass of water. “Take a good gulp.”
Elisa took the glass and drank several mouthfuls of water until she stopped coughing.
Mortified by her outburst, she felt embarrassed—it was the first time she had forgotten herself like that.
Her cheeks flushed even more, especially with Sonny’s wide, curious eyes fixed on her.
The little boy even covered his bowl with his chubby hand, worried that his aunt might accidentally spit food into it.
“Zachary, y–you made me spit my food!” Elisa exclaimed, directing her frustration at him.
Food was splattered across the few dishes in front of her. The maid quickly cleared the dishes and instructed the chef to prepare a few new ones since Zachary was present.
No one would dare treat the Hunt sisters with disrespect, especially not Zachary, who was of noble standing.
Only

After the maid finished cleaning the table, Elisa finally stopped blushing. Zachary sat beside Serenity casually and said nonchalantly, “My cousin mentioned that you’re older than Seren. Since Seren refers to you as ‘cuz,’ I should do the same.”

Elisa opened her mouth but couldn’t counter his statement. After a moment, she laughed and replied, “I thought you were reluctant to acknowledge me as your cousin-in-law. Who would have guessed you would concede so quickly and formally address me that way?”

Zachary remained silent. Regardless, he had officially called Elisa “cuz,” which recognized her as family and demonstrated his respect for Serenity’s family. As he mentioned, he would honor those who mattered to Serenity.

Noticing Sonny covering his bowl, Elisa said, “Sonny, you can keep eating. There’s no need to cover your bowl.”

Sonny asked innocently, “Aunt Elisa, are you going to do the spewing performance again?”

Elisa stood up and leaned down, gently pinching Sonny’s face. “You little rascal, how dare you tease me?”

“I’m not a rascal!” he protested.

“You are a rascal.”

“I’m not! You just have a strong smell.”

He was referring to her perfume. In truth, Sonny didn’t like perfume, even if the scent was faint. This was because his mother and aunt had a naturally pleasant aroma, unlike Elisa. Elisa was left speechless.
