Married at First Sight Chapter 931

Chapter 931
“You chose a great time to arrive. We’re just about to eat.”
As she spoke, Serenity opened the villa’s gate for Zachary.
Zachary replied cheekily, “I’m here to mooch off your food.”
Serenity shot him a playful smirk, saying, “I really feel for you.”
He had come to the Stones’ home to take advantage of their hospitality for Serenity’s sake, showing no shame at all.
It would be dishonest to claim he was unaffected. Serenity understood that while she was upset with him for lying, he was quietly making changes for her benefit.
Zachary gazed at her intently and said tenderly, “I’ll show respect for those you care about. I’ll be by your side fearlessly.”
“Don’t act like my aunt’s house is intimidating. She’s really quite nice.”
“By the way, Elisa is at home too,”
Serenity reminded Zachary.
She was certain she wouldn’t misinterpret Zachary’s feelings toward Elisa. As he had stated, he didn’t reciprocate Elisa’s affection or make her any promises. It was Elisa’s choice to pursue him, which was unrelated to Zachary. Moreover, Elisa had every right to do so.
Serenity was concerned that Zachary might feel uncomfortable.
“Oh.”
Elisa’s presence didn’t deter Zachary from entering the house afterward.
As Zachary and Serenity stepped inside together, he asked, “What does Aunt Audrey like?”
“I’m not sure what she enjoys, so I just picked up some tonics,”
Serenity replied, glancing at the items Jim and the chauffeur were carrying before adding, “My aunt has everything. What’s important is that you follow proper etiquette.”
Zachary chuckled. “You actually regard your aunt as an elder. This is my first visit, so I want to make a good impression.”
When it came to her relatives from her hometown, she would treat

The Hunts approached Serenity with hatred, causing her nothing but trouble and hindrance. A few days ago, Old Mr. Hunt arrived with a group of devoted children and grandchildren to request money from Serenity. After Serenity declined their request, they behaved in an unscrupulous and despicable manner.

John publicly apologized to Serenity and her sister on Twitter, but his apology felt superficial. Many believed he only did it because Serenity married into the Stones, making it seem like he had no choice but to concede without any real sincerity.

The Hunts frequently alerted reporters to accompany them to York Corporation, hoping to solicit money from Zachary. However, Zachary refused them entry into his office. The chaotic scenes created by the Hunts left reporters astonished; they had not anticipated such shamelessness from Serenity’s relatives.

The reporters expressed great sympathy for Serenity, recognizing that her relatives were intent on making her life difficult within her husband’s family. Anyone would be infuriated by having such troublesome and shameless relatives.

Nevertheless, the Hunts had lost their businesses and jobs due to Zachary’s actions, leaving them with nothing to lose. Could Zachary possibly be bold enough to eliminate them all? As Josh had previously mentioned to Zachary, defeating these terrible people would only be possible if they were no longer alive; they would continue to stir trouble as long as they had lost everything that mattered to them.

Zachary was taken aback by the Hunts’ extreme behavior, which altered his view of the world. Naturally, no one had the courage to report that the Hunts had brought reporters to York Corporation to ask for money, so only those present witnessed the Hunts’ despicable actions.

As the news circulated within a small group, it didn’t create the stir that the Hunts had expected.

“I’m really glad you’re here,” Serenity said as she guided Zachary to the main hall.

“Wash your hands and join us for a meal,” she added.

Zachary hummed in agreement. Serenity took him to the basin to wash his hands, and afterward, he followed her to the dining room calmly.

“Uncle Zak,” Sonny called to Zachary before resuming his meal.
