Married at First Sight Chapter 794

Chapter 794
“I believe I’m a lucky man too.” The harsh lines on Zachary’s face softened, replaced by a tender expression as his lips curved into a joyful smile.
Serenity took a night flight to be by Zachary’s side when he was suffering from a severe flu. Even though she insisted he receive a daily injection, there was no doubt he could feel her love for him. It was a sweet taste of happiness.
“Mr. York, is it true that you married your wife at first sight?”
Zachary confirmed this openly. “Yes. I had never met her before signing the marriage papers, but I knew who she was. She saved my nana’s life.”
“So, Old Mrs. York was the reason you married her?”
“Yes, exactly. We rushed into the marriage because of my nana, but I’m thankful for it now. I would have missed out on meeting a wonderful woman like Serenity if Nana hadn’t encouraged me to marry.”
“Oh, wow, Mr. York.”
It was hard to believe that someone like Mr. York would hastily enter into marriage.
The revelation surprised the press.
It was no wonder Mr. York had kept his marriage private even after a few months of being wed. He had also prevented anyone from bothering Serenity.
Yet today, he had agreed to an interview…
Was Mr. York ready to publicly declare that he was taken?
The reporters buzzed with excitement.
It was an honor for them to write about Mr. York’s marriage announcement.
“Did you ever think you would become an uxorious husband when you first got married?”
Zachary smiled and responded, “No. Who can predict the future? I certainly can’t. Maybe you can. If so, please let me know whether our firstborn will be a son or daughter.”
The reporters eagerly inquired, “Is the missus expecting?”
Zachary maintained his smile as he

“Not yet, but hopefully soon. I want a cute daughter,” he replied with a smile. The audience’s premature celebration quickly subsided; they had mistakenly believed the missus was expecting, but that was not the case.

“Today is Valentine’s Day, Mr. York. What have you planned for your wife?”

“Not much, really. Just a bouquet of flowers, thirty sets of jewelry, a villa, and a new car. I’ll be taking her out for dinner tonight, but I can’t read women’s minds to know what they want. So, I decided to go with what’s popular and just go with the flow.”

The media was stunned.

For Valentine’s Day, Mr. York had purchased thirty sets of jewelry for his wife. It goes without saying that each set must cost tens of thousands of dollars. Mr. York wouldn’t settle for anything less for his wife. He was also gifting her a house and a car…

“Mr. York, this isn’t just going with the flow. The average person can’t afford that kind of expenditure.” A female reporter added enviously, “I have a boyfriend, and I can only hope for flowers at best. He’s not nearly as generous as you, Mr. York.”

“Your wife is very fortunate,” she continued.

Serenity had married a stranger at first sight, only to discover that her husband was the heir to the wealthiest York family.

Just imagine the luck!

Serenity was destined for a life of luxury. It’s hard not to envy her.
