Married at First Sight Chapter 533

**Chapter 533**

“Chelsea mentioned she’s having issues at work. I wonder what happened. I thought she was doing well. What changed?” Mrs. Brown murmured as she quickly pressed the call button to reach her daughter. During the call, Chelsea spoke anxiously, “I don’t know what’s happening, Mom. I feel like my coworkers are out to get me. They have a problem with everything I do. Nothing positive happened all day. If Hank wants the divorce, just let it happen, Mom. Your son is a great man. He won’t have any trouble finding another wife.”

“God knows how Liberty discovered dirt on your brother, but she has enough to threaten him into meeting all her demands. Liberty is getting over a million dollars in alimony, full custody of Sonny, and three thousand dollars a month for child support.”

“Does Hank have that much money to give her?” Chelsea asked, astonished. “Hank had transferred his assets, but Liberty somehow found proof of the transfer. Never mind. Since work is stressing you out, you don’t have to come with me. Your dad and I will head into the city first thing tomorrow to talk with Liberty and her sister.”

“Focus on Serenity, Mom. Convincing her is basically convincing Liberty,” Chelsea replied.

“I think so too.” The mother and daughter chatted for a while longer before ending the call.

After work, Serenity stopped by Liberty’s place to discuss her housing situation following the move out of the Browns’ residence.

As expected, Liberty declined the offer to move in with her younger sister. “I’ll have enough money as long as Hank pays what he owes, so I won’t need to move in with you. I’ll rent a place for now and look for a property. The money should be enough to cover the deposit on a slightly smaller house.

“With the remaining funds, I’ll see if I can continue working at Lewis & Co.”
