“How’s that little brat?” Zachary inquired in a low voice.

“I didn’t hit him. Instead, I made his dad slap him until the corners of his mouth were bleeding. We also vandalized their house, and when they threatened to call the police, I told them to go ahead. If anything happened to Sonny, the police could just arrest that little brat.”

“After hearing that, they didn’t dare to say a word.”

Callum recognized that Matthew was still just a child; hitting him would only lead to the Reptons suing him, which was not the outcome they desired. Fortunately, the York brothers outnumbered the Reptons. To protect himself, George cruelly disciplined his eldest son, slapping Matthew until his face was red, swollen, and bleeding.

Callum nodded in agreement.

Since Sonny’s abuser was also a minor, police might not be able to arrest Matthew. However, Chelsea and George could offer compensation and a formal apology. They would also need to promise to be more strict with Matthew moving forward. This could serve as a warning.

“Stay here. I’ll step outside to make a call,” Zachary said.

Callum nodded.

Zachary exited the ward, walked to a quiet corner, and called Josh.

Thinking his friend was checking on his blind date, Josh stopped, propped his slender legs on the ground to stabilize the bicycle, and removed the rose from his mouth to answer the call from his friend and boss.

Josh expected Zachary to inquire about the evidence regarding Hank’s property transfer. As soon as the call connected, he said, “Zachary, I’ll organize the evidence after my blind date. I’ll print it out and send it to you later.”

“You don’t need it right now since it’s the weekend, right?”

City Hall was closed on weekends.

“You can send me that evidence later. Can you help me find out where Hank’s sister and brother-in-law work? Also, please suppress Waltham.”

Electronics should send a message to their boss stating that to save the company, they only need to eliminate Hank and that woman, Jessica. “Spread the word that any company daring to hire Hank and his mistress will become enemies of York Corporation.
