Married at First Sight Chapter 438

Chapter 438
Josh casually asked, “When do you need it?”
“The sooner, the better, of course.”
“I can give it to you tomorrow. Is that too late?”
“That works for me.”
Tomorrow was when Liberty and Hank would discuss their divorce. It would benefit Liberty if she had evidence of Hank’s assets.
“You’re really going all out for your sister-in-law. I don’t see you putting in this much effort for your own company.”
Zachary paused for a moment before replying, “Serenity is very grateful to me now.”
“Gratitude isn’t the same as love. You need to do more for her to truly fall for you. However, if you help her sister with her issue, she’ll see you as an amazing person. This will make her more dependent on you, and her heart will be moved subconsciously.”
Though Josh didn’t have a girlfriend, his analysis was clear and logical.
After his analysis, he asked Zachary, “Have you fallen in love? Don’t try to make your wife love you without intending to love her back. That’s just playing with her feelings.”
Zachary hesitated before saying, “What kind of reaction indicates that I’m in love? I feel nervous and excited when I hold her hand. Is that love? When I see her smile, I feel happy and want to kiss her. Is that love?”
“Wow, not bad, Zachary. You’ve reached that point? I thought you only knew how to frown, purse your lips, glare at others, and ignore them.”
Zachary considered hanging up the phone.
Only Josh would dare to tease him like this to his face.
Still, Zachary relied on him for information.
“I told you long ago that you care about your flash marriage wife, but you stubbornly refused to admit it. When your wife had dinner with Shawn, you—”

You brooded for several days yet refused to acknowledge your jealousy. Honestly, you’re quite difficult to handle when you’re feeling this way.” Zachary’s expression darkened. “I wasn’t jealous!” “Not even a fool would believe you now. First, I’ll call someone to check the properties under Hank’s name. I’ll also look into whether anyone in his family has significant savings. We can discuss your jealousy another day.” Josh didn’t forget to remind him, “Make sure to let Ms. Sox know I’ll be waiting for her at Beans and Cream tomorrow at 10 a.m. I’ll have a red rose in hand.” “Understood,” Zachary replied, amused. His friend was genuinely excited about this blind date. He also hoped that Josh and Jasmine would connect. Since Jasmine was Serenity’s best friend, Zachary considered her a friend as well and naturally wished for her happiness. After their call ended, Zachary wanted to call Serenity but remembered that she was asleep and didn’t want to wake her. He pondered for a moment before getting up and heading to the small study. There, he grabbed a pen and paper to jot down a note. After writing, he took the note and made his way to Serenity’s room. Assuming Grandma May would be sleeping with her, Serenity had left the door unlocked, allowing Zachary to enter with ease. He placed the note on the dresser and set her cell phone on top of it, ensuring she would see the note first thing in the morning and notify Jasmine promptly. Once he finished, he stood by the bed, watching Serenity peacefully sleep for a moment before quietly exiting. While Serenity slept soundly, Zachary tossed and turned. Though he had only spent one night in bed with her, he found it hard to sleep when she was so close.

Not with him tonight. Should I go to her room and carry her back to sleep with me? No, I wouldn’t be able to explain my actions in the morning. Then, should I sleep in her room instead? I can sneak back to my own room before she wakes up.
