Married at First Sight Chapter 51

Chapter 51
“Keep today’s events from the old Mrs.,” Zachary instructed those around him.
The bodyguards promptly followed his orders.
Despite being married, Zachary found himself at the center of Ms. Stone’s bold declarations of love. It was imperative that the old Mrs. remained unaware of this situation.
Elisa’s audacious actions did not go unnoticed at York Corporation. Employees exchanged furtive glances at their boss as Zachary made his entrance into the building.
With his signature serious expression and tightly pressed lips, Zachary strode confidently, flanked by his bodyguards. There was an undeniable aura of royalty about him, making him quite the heartthrob for many young women.
Countless young female employees would feel their hearts race upon catching sight of the young CEO. However, none dared to openly express their feelings for Zachary, let alone attempt to pursue him.
From the perspective of the average person, the York family seemed utterly unattainable. Although the York men were known for their loyalty to their partners, winning one of their hearts posed a significant challenge.
Once inside his office, Zachary took out his phone to contact Clive. It took a moment before Clive answered the call. “Well, this is a surprise! I can hardly believe the illustrious Mr. York is calling me. What an honor!”
Clive teased Zachary with a playful tone.
“Clive, you need to talk to your sister!”
Upon hearing about his sister, Clive became serious. “What has Elisa done this time?”
He was well aware of his sister’s long-standing crush on Zachary, one that she had struggled to move past. Recently, Elisa had confided in Clive that…

Clive was anxious about his sister’s plan to confess her feelings for Zachary. He couldn’t shake the feeling that his impulsive sister might end up heartbroken after approaching someone like Zachary, known for his indifferent demeanor. Why did she have to fall for that serious face?

“She’s bothering me! She’s right outside my office. Either you come and take her away, or I’ll have my men throw her out,” he snapped into the phone.

“I’ll have my wife pick her up right away so we don’t cause you any trouble, Mr. York. Please continue with your work,” came Zachary’s cool response before he ended the call.

Clive was fuming, not at Zachary but at his sister. Without wasting a moment, he called his wife, urgency lacing his voice. “Honey, where are you?”

“I’m out shopping with Mom. What’s the matter? You sound upset,” she replied.

“Please go to York Corporation and get Elisa. She’s gone to confront Zachary and is likely bothering him. You know how he is—he won’t tolerate this,” Clive urged.

His frustration stemmed from his sister’s stubborn love for Zachary, despite the family’s warnings. He was also concerned about how Zachary might react. Although Zachary was typically cold, he could have a fiery temper that could lead to embarrassing consequences for anyone who annoyed him, regardless of their background.

Zachary was a prominent figure in Wiltspoon’s business scene, and his actions were always under media scrutiny. Clive knew that if Zachary decided to retaliate, it wouldn’t take much for the media to turn against Elisa.

His main worry was the damage it could do to his sister’s reputation. If she faced Zachary’s wrath, she might never be able to show her face in Wiltspoon again. His wife reassured him, “I’ll go there right away. Don’t be angry. Elisa just wants to take a chance. If it doesn’t work out, she’ll move on. She doesn’t want to regret not trying.”
